Guess what? We still remembered the words to those old songs like Lang time gyal we neva see yu<\/em>, etc., etc. Games were played to test the old brain cells to see whose were still functioning. We all did fantastically well. Prizes donated by students from abroad were handed to the winners…<\/p>\n Dinner Time:<\/strong> Nice food. Absolutely delish. We had tamales; ducuno; beef; chicken sandwiches; pigs in a blanket; chips and dip; Shirley\u2019s chicken; Francisca\u2019s cassava pudding; bread pudding; Graduation Anniversary Cake, specially made complete with gown and hat; Judy\u2019s special banana salad, which nobody guessed the main ingredient. (She would not let me tell; so sad, I could have won the prize for that, as I knew it, of course.)<\/p>\n Drinks Galore:<\/strong> We had rum popo, rum, brandy, wine and we all took it home at the end of the evening (courtesy of Traveller\u2019s, thank you).<\/p>\n Most of all, thanks to Mar\u00eda for arranging and allowing us the use of Traveller\u2019s Inn for our special night out. This was one of the best ever. Could it be on account of it being a boozy one? Nah\u2026don\u2019t think so. It was because of the good company, real brok dong music, nice food, nice setting, and us ladies just letting our hair down for this fantastic evening and being 16\/17 all over again. We totally enjoyed complimenting and singing praises of nice teachers and moaning and groaning about those who excelled in handing out demerits as if they were golden medals (lol).<\/p>\n What a fantastic evening enjoyed by all! This will be embedded in our minds for a long time as the best ever.
