{"id":602,"date":"2019-06-20T15:04:47","date_gmt":"2019-06-20T22:04:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/class69reunion-1203976.netsolhost.com\/?page_id=602"},"modified":"2023-07-18T15:04:41","modified_gmt":"2023-07-18T22:04:41","slug":"50-mass","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.class69reunion.org\/?page_id=602","title":{"rendered":"Mass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"reg\">Our 50-year reunion started on Friday with a reunion Mass at St.&nbsp;Joseph&#8217;s Church. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/class69reunion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/massprogram.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/class69reunion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/massprogram-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"[programme]\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.class69reunion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/massprogram-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.class69reunion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/massprogram-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.class69reunion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/massprogram.jpg 1058w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"reg\">Though scheduled for 6:00PM, the Mass was delayed while classmates greated each other and chatted. <strong>Father Noel Leslie<\/strong> and the St.&nbsp;Joseph&#8217;s Choir waited indulgently for all to take their seats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"reg\">The First Reading during the Mass was by <strong>Eloica<\/strong> Tillett Smith of PHS; the Responsorial Psalm, by <strong>Juanita<\/strong> (Nena) Beeke, n&eacute;e Rudon of PHS; the Second Reading, by <strong>Gustavo<\/strong> Dubois of SJC; and the Petitions, by <strong>Veronica<\/strong> Jones, n&eacute;e Usher of SJC. <\/p>\n<p class=\"reg\"><strong>Jos&eacute;<\/strong> Perera and <strong>Andrew<\/strong> Hulse of SJC took up the collection. <strong>Joy<\/strong> Tatum-Haylock and <strong>Lydia<\/strong> Balderamos Loskot of SCA and <strong>Judith<\/strong> Bodden, n&eacute;e Usher, of PHS presented the gifts.<\/P><\/p>\n<p class=\"reg\">When Mass was over, classmates sought out friends they hadn&#8217;t seen earlier.  Some stopped to take photographs.
